Melvin Agyei-Boateng

Director of Player Development/Scouting

I am from Kumasi, Ghana, West Africa. I come from a family of six, 2 brothers, a sister, my mum and dad. I grew up in Ghana and moved to the United States in 2013 to play college soccer. Earned my Bachelor degree in Sports Business in 2016 from Saint Leo University, Florida. My college career was a success. 3 times SSC Conference Champion, All conference team honoree, 4 times NCAA tournament appearance. In my professional career, I played in the Florida Cup in 2016, with the Tampa bay rowdies U-23 in 2017. Currently playing with the Florida Tropics indoor team in Lakeland, FL. Started my coaching career with the Tropics youth club in 2018. Began coaching a recreational team and moving up to take over a competitive team in the coming season.
I chose to join the Synced Soccer team because of the great vision they have with giving opportunities to young athletes to achieve their goals and become successful both academically and in football. This is a platform I believe is a great idea, because I had the same opportunity like this to study and play in the United States of America.
